This is what you'll do

  • Shape the future proof fintech platform that underpins Europe’s largest online broker.
  • Assume the Product Owner role in the Corporate Actions team, part of the CORE Banking department, which builds services that provide relevant financial data to other teams or directly the Customer.
  • Act as the first person to contact when it comes to new / changed requirements in the Corporate Actions domain or aligning with other departments, teams and stakeholders
  • Create user stories, capturing the business requirements, based on which the development team will be implementing new or changed functionality of our banking platform, specifically in the Reporting sub-domain
  • Participate in regular meetings with your team to refine requirements, keep yourself informed about the progress and understand any impediments or improvement opportunities.
  • You will be the link between Business and the IT and will manage the team’s backlog
  • Provide visibility on the progress of the team, any outstanding impediments and participate in higher level planning across the department.

 

You bring us these skills

  • Academic background - Bachelor's/Master's degree  in Informatics OR proven relevant experience
  • Technical knowledge so that you are able to understand our IT landscape and the applications form a high level point of view
  • Domain knowledge in fintech and/or financial regulator reporting is a plus.
  • Experience in managing a team’s backlog – structuring the backlog, refining requirements, coordinating and facilitating estimations and capacity of the team
  • Ability to work in a team, establish structure if necessary and make sure the team can always count on you
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English (Bulgarian, Dutch or German are a plus)
  • You are a pragmatic person and don't like to overcomplicate things
