About the role

flatexDEGIRO is currently looking for an Operational Risk Manager to be part of our operational Risk Management team, focusing on RCSAs and process monitoring. As part of the separate and independent Risk Management function, your role will facilitate the maintenance and further improvement of a robust and risk-aware organization.

This role is aimed at guiding and advising the IT organization on how to set up processes that are demonstrably in control and to monitor and report on the degree of control from a second-line perspective. Together with the IT organization, we strive for continuous improvement in order to keep our customers satisfied and to permanently comply with relevant legislation and regulations. We are aware that this is the only way to continue to grow

What you will be responsible for

Facilitate Risk Control Self Assessments within the IT domain;
Advice IT Process Owners on business process design, risk identification and controls;
Support process owners with identification and measurement of appropriate KPIs and RACI table;
Make sure that identified risks are properly included in the operational risk register;
Monitor and advice with regard to effective follow-up on identified risks;
Increase & improve the operational risk and control awareness within the organization;
Help relevant stakeholders to obtain clear view of what it means to be in control;
Remain well-informed of new developments in the area of operational risk management;
Facilitate the continuous strengthening of ensuring FlatexDEGIRO’s system, policy, process and procedure controls.
