This is what you'll do

  • Conduct sanctions, PEP and Adverse media screening on individual and corporate clients and related parties in accordance with regulatory and policy requirements;
  • Verify the identities of individual clients;
  • Obtain detailed background information on clients through online research and other relevant sources;
  • Build customer profiles and reviews files to identify deficiencies and discrepancies of relevant documentation;
  • Take on responsibility for difficult cases;
  • Contributing ideas and to further improve and streamline the KYC processes;
  • Act as source of information and train junior colleagues.

 

You bring us this skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as finance, business administration, law;
  • 2+ years of experience in KYC/AML compliance, ideally in a financial institution or related industry;
  • Strong understanding of KYC/AML regulations, including local laws and international standards (e.g., FATF recommendations)
  • Familiarity with different types of financial crime, including money laundering, terrorist financing, and fraud
  • Knowledge of customer due diligence (CDD) and enhanced due diligence (EDD) procedures and risk assessment methodologies
  • Excellent research and investigation skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
