Are you a dynamic leader with a passion for financial markets and a proven track record in income distribution? We are seeking a highly skilled professional to lead our Income Distribution team for our flatex and DEGIRO brands. 


This is what you'll do

 

  • Maintain a good relationship with our custodians for handling Income distribution towards our client based portfolio’s at Morgan Stanley, ABN Amro Clearing Bank, Caceis etc.; 
  • Collaborate with IT squads to enhance existing applications and provide valuable feedback for continuous improvement;
  • Work closely with Service Desk team leads to address concerns, enhance communication channels, and elevate service levels;
  • Collaborate with the Client Tax team to identify issues, detect changes in taxation affecting clients, and streamline the booking process;
  • Actively participate in projects related to income distribution, ensuring all requirements are communicated effectively to project managers;
  • Respond to ad-hoc requests from internal and external departments, providing relevant data and support for regulatory compliance, client tax, legal, and IT;
  • Continuously striving to improve existing workflow in order to reduce errors and improve efficiencies;
  • Identify high and low performers, manage capacity, evaluate future growth needs, and maintain high team morale through effective task balancing and recognition;
  • Monitor the reconciliation process related to income distribution, including dividends and withholding tax, ensuring accuracy and compliance
  • Review and approve KPI tickets related to income distribution, promptly addressing concerns and escalating issues when necessary;
  • Escalating incidents and ensuring time to resolve is kept to a minimum.

 

You bring us these skills

 

  • Bachelor's and/or Master’s degree or proven relevant working experience in the field;
  • Excellent understanding of the corporate action booking process, especially related to income events (dividends, coupons)
  • Excellent understanding of Capital Markets, including CA events, OTC deals, and settlements;
  • Proficiency in financial instruments such as Stocks, Bonds, futures, options;
  • Deep understanding of corporate action booking processes, especially related to income events (dividends, coupons);
  • Knowledgeable about reconciliation procedures in a financial institute;
  • Experience in effectively leading and managing teams;
  • Demonstrated ability to align with different stakeholders;
  • People management skills;
  • Facilitate and oversee team meetings while ensuring efficient capacity management;
  • Support in learning and development initiatives;
  • Set clear goals for team members and specific tasks.
