What tasks can you expect with us?

Ensuring the submission of returns in an accurate & timely manner at varying frequencies, as stipulated by the regulator
Ensuring of a robust control environment by performing key checks and controls proving data completeness and consistency
Investigation of issues and exceptions with various divisions of the firm such as IT, Compliance, Brokerage, Operations
Analysis of upcoming regulatory transaction reporting requirements with respect
Understanding system flows, bookings, financial instruments and assist in technology build as per necessary reporting requirements
Proactively verification to improve workflows, technology, and integrity of reporting information
Coordinate and implement regulatory change and regulatory transaction reporting projects and processes
Focus on daily functional oversight through development and execution of testing and monitoring
Responsible for enhancing and further developing the regulatory transactions reporting architecture and platform which are used to reporting to regulators
Partner with the main departments (e.g. IT squads, Compliance, Risk, Brokerage and Operations) to establish control mechanisms and focus on sustainable enhancements for the different regulatory regimes

What do we want from you?

Degree in a relevant study field (e.g. business administration, legal)
Extensive hands-on experience in the banking industry
Relevant, substantial working knowledge of of the regulatory reporting regimes (e.g. MiFIR/MIFID II, EMIR, SFTR, CSDR)
Fluent in English (Dutch or German is considered a plus)
Strong financial, analytical, detail-oriented, and organizational skills
Pragmatic, complex problem-solving skills
Excellent interpersonal skills, strong communicator, reliable team player, experienced with working in cross-functional teams
Knowledge of SQL and/or VBA is a plus
Experience with Standard Reporting Tools (e.g. Cappitech, IHS Markit, S&P Global, etc) is a plus
