Without law there would be chaos

The Legal Officer Litigation will be dealing with complaints and litigation in at the Dutch Institute for Financial Disputes (Kifid) and other venues of dispute resolution, internal complaints, as well as related legal questions these cases raise for the business. This includes supporting in monitoring legal and regulatory developments to keep existing services of DEGIRO compliant with the law. You will be joining the Legal Department Complaints Team, who are passionate and motivated in what they do. You will be working closely together with your team members and all relevant colleagues from throughout the company.

This is what you'll do:

• Handling of cases at venues of dispute resolution, such as the Dutch Institute for Financial Disputes (Kifid) or equivalents in the other countries in which DEGIRO provides services
• Handling of complaint cases within the internal complaints procedure of DEGIRO
• Carrying out research assignments on legal and regulatory matters;
• Advising the business on litigation related matters;
