Improve Europe’s leading investment platform:

 

You will be joining around 15 colleagues in the Client Risk team who are passionate and motivated in what they do. You will be reporting to the Team Lead Risk Manager. We aim to grow to eight million customers by 2025. Helping keep DEGIRO safe and able to sustain our clients’ needs is critical to our success. To achieve this, you will be able to work in collaboration with your team and other departments on optimizing risk processes and systems on real-time risk handling. All teams are very open and approachable. They will support you in gaining new skills and knowledge.

 

What you will be responsible for:

  • To monitor and manage risk within retail and professional accounts at flatexDEGIRO;
  • Manage margin and credit risk, identify and mitigate operational risk, monitor trading and compliance with rules.
  • Monitor cash flow/AML, as well as assist treasury activities, securities borrowing and lending;
  • Work in collaboration with other departments on optimizing risk processes and systems;
  • Assist in the development and improvement of risk measures, reports and policies;
  • You will monitor all entities within the group and ensure they follow specified rules and regulations;
  • Treasury: cash management and securities borrowing and lending
  • Assist development and documentation of margin models;
  • Monitor trading, compliance;

 

 

 

We are looking for you if you have:

  • Master’s degree in finance, Economics, Econometrics, Mathematics or similar field;
  • 0 to 3 years of relevant professional experience;
  • Knowledge of financial markets;
  • Excellent command of English;
  • Ability to work with VBA and SQL;
  • Familiar with Excel;
  • High attention to detail;
  • Good analytical skills;
  • Ability to work on a fast-paced environment;
  • Resilience to stress.
